His Not Pouring Out His Anger - Pastor Aloysius

1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

The New Living Translation of our opening verse says, *God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not pour out His anger*. And the Easy English Bible says,*God did not make us his people so that he could be angry with us. He has not chosen us so that he can punish us. Instead, he has chosen us so that he can save us. He saves us because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done*.

The teaching is that God is angry with us and He is going to punish us is very wrong. God is not pouring out his anger on anyone. He is not angry at us. Because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross, the Lord is not going to pour out his anger on us. God is not going to make any one sick or bring death on any one today.

Jesus Christ died to save us from God's wrath. God forgave us all our sins. And the Bible says He is merciful to us. God didn't create us so that He can show out his anger on us. He created us for mercy and love. He created us for good, not for bad. So don't think the Lord is angry. God is not going to punish anyone today.He is chosen to save us.
