The new life in Christ attracts new blessings from Heaven all year-round. The people of the world are used to unbelief. Their worldview is littered with statements such as 'there is nothing new under the sun' and 'can something new come from this aged planet about to die?'. Yet, over and over again, the Bible echoes and re-echoes: God is able to do all things. God is an everlasting God and His attributes don’t change from time to time. Just as He was before the beginning and in the beginning, so is He now and forever.

In the book of Exodus, God parted the roaring waves of the Red Sea and converted its depths into a highway as an escape route for His people. Surely, that was humanly impossible. But with the Lord it became possible. From today’s Scripture, our great God again said He will do something new, He said He would "even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert". This goes beyond human knowledge and reasoning. It means there is nothing impossible with God. Our Lord always moves into new grounds to manifest Himself to the works of His Hands. He does so to tell us that we can trust Him to turn the impossibilities of our lives into possibilities.

This is therefore the assurance for you, dear child of God, that as you move into the day, God has assured something new for you. The condition to receiving it is to have faith in God. Don’t doubt this for God cannot be limited. Every day until you meet Him has something new from your Father to you. Ready to receive yours for today? Obey His Word and you shall receive yours.
